Monsplasty (Liposuction Mons Pubis)
Whether from a congenital cause or due to excessive weight gain, the pubic area can become fatty and make some women self-conscious and uncomfortable when wearing fitted clothing. Liposuction of the mons pubis is a relatively straightforward procedure that can produce some dramatic results if you have unwanted fullness or protruding of the mons without significant skin laxity or drooping. However if you have skin excess, overhang, and drooping of the mons requiring removal of excess skin to lift the mons, then liposuction won’t be enough. In this case, Dr Zadeh will suggest a monsplasty, or pubic lift, as a better option. This procedure removes extra skin and excess fat, reducing the bulging area and providing a lift as well.
